LeeAnna Repass's work focuses on rendering water surfaces, halting a moment of movement. She is interested in the concept of intermediate spaces as they relate to experience, entropy, and the relentlessness of time. Her highly detailed approach results in a kind of hyperrealism that reaches toward abstraction.
LeeAnna Repass lives and works in Atlanta, GA. She is a graduate of the Atlanta College of Art, and has exhibited her work extensively in museums and galleries across the Southeast. She is also a former and sometimes aerial acrobat with forays into terrestrial acrobatic movement.
